Balkan TourGuide will wait for you at the airport. Following the transfer to the hotel and some time for refreshment. We will meet again in the evening and i will do a short presentation of the tour. After the presentation we will visit the capital. This will Include the Pyramid of Tirana, the Central Square and its most representative buildings. In conclusion we will head towards the Blloku district because this area is the most lively part of Tirana.

Balkan TourMeet the guide in the lobby. Following, we will head to Apollonia, an ancient city that ceased life somewhere in the early medieval age. At its peak, the city was an example of perfectly functional Democracy. After Apollonia, we will head to Berat. The town is one of the oldest in Albania and counts more than 2200 years.  Furthermore, the lower part is a UNESCO historical site due to its remarkable architecture features.

Balkan TourGjirokaster is another remarkable example of Ottoman Architecture and not only! It should be noted that this little town is the birthplace of many Albanian influential personalities as well. In addition, I can mention the Nobel Candidate Writer Ismail Kadare and the dictator of Albania for 45 years, Enver Hoxha. The evening follows with a visit to a local house for the traditional coffee in stone ceremony.

Balkan Private TourAlbania abounds on natural and historical sites. Moreover, on the way to Sarande, we visit a natural wonder such as the Blue Eye. This site, is about a natural park and its many springs. The most beatiful spring is surrounded by mystery and legends on its powers and crystalline waters. Besides, the second part of the day will be in the lost city of Butros aka Butrinti. Definitely the most important UNESCO site in Albania. In conclusion free evening in the coastal town of Sarande.

A super scenic drive through mountains, hills filled with secular olive trees and spectacular views of the Ionian Sea. We will make many stops on the way. Hence going up to 1200 m above the sea level. Also we visit Vlore, the city where the Albanians proclaimed independence from the Ottoman Empire. As well, the ancient Aulona was an important city in the Roman period. Today the city is bustling as a lively touristic destination both for nationals and internationals.

Balkan TourThe morning starts with a transfer to Durres. Moreover, we explore the rests of the biggest Amphitheater in the Balkans. After the visit of Durres, on the way to Shkoder, we will stop to an amazing Slow – Food restaurant. Following that, we visit Shkoder and its romantic alleys. In addition, we can visit also the Castle of Rozafa. Nonetheless we chouldn’t miss the incredible views from its towers. Concluding the day with the overnight in Shkoder.

Balkan TourMontenegro, this tiny Balkan beauty is incredibly diverse for the size of the country itself. We will visit two fo its highlights, namely Budva and Kotor before heading to the capital, Podgorica. Budva is considered a touristic destination but is a must see if we travel in Montenegro. Also Kotor is very attractive, surrounded by impressive walls. The capital, Podgorica, is perched up the mountains and is bustling from an energetic economy.

Balkan TourToday we drive through Montenegro and head to Kosovo. The first stop is in Kolasin National Park to enjoy the nature and the amazing views. Crossing the border with Kosovo, we head to Peje. Following we visit the Peja Patriarcate, an impressive monastery complex. Overnight in Peje.

Kosovo abounds in natural and historical sites. Moreover, today we visit a UNESCO site located in Decani. Also, this monastery has remarkable features and amazing paintings. After we will stop in Prizren. Furthermore, the small town is famous for the lively lifestyle, restaurants and bars. Following, we will visit the town and its museums. Overnight in Prishtina.

Balkan TourSkopje is the most ecentric capital of the Balkans.  Furthermore, the city is bustling in monuments and all sorts of museums. The Vardar River, in addition,  the longest river in North Macedonia defines the old and the new part of this city.  Also, the old part, abounds in Ottoman architecture but the new one in Neo Classical one. Evening we head to Ohrid for the overnight

Furthermore, the lake has a surface of 90 Km 2 and represents a unique ecosystem. Visit and free time to experience on our own the welcoming atmosphere. Evening we visit the Saint Naum Monastery, built on the springs taht refill the lake with fresh water.
